Randy Kaplan, (Ret.) spoke at the Massachusetts Bar Association’s (MBA) 32nd Annual Family Law Conference, October 27 – 28 in Chatham, MA. Judge Kaplan presented on the panel, “Appellate Issues and Practice in Family Law.”

Judge Kaplan is a retired Associate Justice of the Probate and Family Court and sat primarily in Suffolk, Middlesex, Essex and Nantucket counties. After nearly 20 years of service, she now serves as a certified Mediator/Conciliator and focuses her practice on divorce mediation, conciliation and arbitration. Judge Kaplan is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, U.S. District Court for Massachusetts and the U.S Supreme Court. She also lectures extensively in all areas of family and probate law, and her wealth of experience is sought-after by colleagues and clients.

The MBA’s 32nd Annual Family Law Conference was sponsored by the Family Law Section Council. The 2023 event was titled, “The News Basics,” and featured a range of learning and networking opportunities with judges and colleagues.
