BOSTON, MA, July 27, 2022 – Ligris + Associates PC (Ligris) announces that it has successfully completed an annual System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2™ report. The examination, which was conducted by Schneider Downs & Co., Inc., found that Ligris continues to meet the SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria for the Security category set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) with zero deviations. Since the initial certification, Ligris increased control maturity and risk mitigation related to threats around network security, as well as executed security awareness training with phishing exercises.

SOC 2 reports are attestation reports that examine controls at a service organization relevant to the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of information processed for user entities. SOC 2 reports demonstrate a company’s ability to not only implement critical security policies, but also prove compliance of effective control operation, over an extended period of time.
