Meet David
David joined Ligris in 2012 and assists the firm’s co-managing partner, Nik Ligris, with his case files. His practice concentrates on all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, and he represents buyers, sellers, investors, and developers in the acquisition, sale, and development of commercial and residential real estate. David specializes in the review and negotiation of Purchase and Sale Agreements, curing title defects, drafting condominium documents, and tracking clients’ mortgage commitments with their lenders.
David grew up in Melrose and lives in Marblehead with his husband Alex (Kosta Ligris was Alex and David’s wedding officiant!), and their German shepherd dog, Remi.
Outside the Office
David loves to walk with his husband Alex and their German shepherd dog, Remi. He also loves to play and watch tennis and is an avid fan of Star Trek. David's favorite daily activity is to read the actual physical newspaper – Boston Globe or New York Times – every morning (he gets up extra early to read it!). He loves reading about what’s going on in the world and all of the latest developments in politics.

Background
Before working at Ligris, David worked at a small residential real estate transactional firm in Boston. He also clerked for the Administrative Law Judge for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, but his favorite job prior to Ligris was working at Fenway Park.
Why David?
David takes great pride in his attention to detail and making sure that clients feel as if they are his only client. Because he realizes that buying or selling property is often the biggest event in that person’s life at that time, David’s primary goal is to eliminate all the stress for the client during this important experience.
