Josh is a courtroom litigator who represents property owners and investors in landlord-tenant and real estate disputes. He serves his clients extensively as a trusted advisor, drawing upon his litigation experience to anticipate and avoid legal pitfalls and future expenses.
Outside the Office
Josh is an avid cold-water scuba diver. Some of his favorite local spots are in Rockport and Gloucester.

Background
Josh operated Krefetz Law Firm LLC for ten years and became one of the leading landlord-tenant lawyers in the Greater Boston area prior to merging his practice with Ligris. Before he became an attorney, Josh was a political analyst for the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations in New York City. He speaks conversational Japanese.
Why Josh?
Josh finds satisfaction in helping his clients achieve greater success. He is highly skilled at handling residential and commercial evictions, transactional disputes, discrimination claims, and code enforcement actions. Josh is also appointed as a receiver in the Housing Court, where he works closely with the City of Boston Inspectional Services Department to oversee and reposition dangerous and abandoned properties. Josh frequently serves as a guardian ad litem to assist tenants and landlords with mental impairments at the Housing Court’s request.
